How to Obtain These Books

There are several ways to obtain the books The INs and OUTs of FOCUS  and FOCUSING the VIEW CAMERA  books:

1. Both books are available as PDF downloads from this site via the download page.
   
   
2. Harold sells the books direct by mail. Send him a personal cheque or money order for US$17.95 for FOCUSING the VIEW CAMERA.   The INs and OUTs of FOCUS     is unfortunately out of print. The price is post-paid anywhere in the world. His address is: Harold M. Merklinger, P.O. Box 494, Dartmouth Nova Scotia, Canada B2Y 3Y8. You might wish to download Harold's pdf-format flyer (about 215k) for more information about the books, and about ordering them from Harold. The Acrobat Reader needed to view and/or print the flyer can be downloaded from the Adobe Web Site.
   
   
3. Until the end of March 2008, use your VISA card (or MasterCard) and telephone The Book Room in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada at (902) 423-8271, or FAX them at (902) 423-0398. Their normal price was based on CA$19.95 plus shipping for FOCUSING the VIEW CAMERA. However, after 139 years in business, The Book Room will be closing its doors by the end of March, and maybe sooner! Last time I was there, all books were 40% off.
   
   
4. The Camera Trading Company at 368 Bank St., Ottawa, Ontario, Canada K2P 1Y4 may have a few copies of the original printing of The INS and OUTs of FOCUS, as well as a few copies of FOCUSING the VIEW CAMERA. You'll have to talk to them about pricing.
